5 Things to Wear on Game Day

by Julia

Fordham’s Homecoming is this weekend (my first as an alumni — stab to my heart) and I couldn’t be more excited! Seniors and alumni get to go into “The Tent” and get free food and drinks and other Fordham-themed things so it’s always fun and a great time to catch up with people. Since I haven’t seen a lot of my classmates since we graduated last May, I definitely want to feel cute on Homecoming. Read on to see 5 clothing pieces & accessories that make my mental game day inspiration board:

Forever 21 corduroy mini skirt: Pair this corduroy skirt with a jersey, school tee or any other graphic t-shirt and you have a festive yet effortless outfit. Plus, you can definitely re-wear this skirt a bunch this fall with leather and denim pieces.

Sole Society ‘Thalia’ crossbody bag: You will definitely want a hands-free bag on game day. This bag from Sole Society is adorable and can fit everything you need from your wallet, phone, keys, lipgloss and even a snack (it also comes in black).

‘Hot Sox’ football socks: Even if you aren’t that into actually watching football at homecoming, these socks are just too cute — imagine them peeking out of a cute pair of sneakers (they also come in gray).

Converse Chuck Taylor low top sneaker: Speaking of sneakers… I swear, every girl in college has a pair of these in some color. And yes, I am one of those girls. But they really do live up to the hype; Converse are insanely comfortable and go with everything.

J.Crew polka dot bandana: Tie a bandana in your hair or around your neck to add a little something extra and unexpected to your outfit. Bonus points if you can find one that matches your school colors! Screen Shot 2016-09-21 at 10.03.00 PM.png
